המנהל הכללי של CENR רולף הויר והשגריר הישראלי למוסדות האו”ם בג’נבה אהרון לשנו-יער חתמו אתמול (ו’) על מסמך לצירוף ישראל כחברה בארגון, בכפוף לאישור הכנסת
בעקבות האישור, ישראל תהפוך לחברה נלווית לתקופה של 24 חודשים לפחות. בהמשך לתקופה זו תחליט מועצת סרן על הפיכתה לחברה מלאה, בהתאם להמלצת כוח משימה. לישראל ולסרן קשרים ותיקים. ישראל היא משקיפה במועצת CERN מאז שנת 1991.
“חלק חשוב מהמשימה שלנו היא לבנות גשרים בין אומות. הסכם זה יעשיר אותנו מבחינה מדעית והוא מהווה גם צעד חשוב בכיוון זה” אמר הויר. “אני שמח שהקשרים בין ישראל ו-CERN עולים רמה נוספת.”
“אני שמח על ההחלטה” אומר פרופ’ אליעזר רבינוביץ’, מנהל המכון למחקרים מתקדמים באוניברסיטה העברית, ומשקיף מטעם ישראל במועצת CERN. “אני רואה בכך הכרה בתרומה הישראלית, הן המדעית והן הטכנולוגית לסרן במשך שנים. הקהילה המדעית הישראלית מקווה להמשך שיתוף פעולה זה.”
לישראל מסורת של מצוינות הן בצד התיאורטי והן בצד הניסויי של פיזיקת החלקיקים, לרבות מעורבות גדולה בניסוי OPAL – מאיץ הדגל של סרן בשנותה תשעים ומאיץ האלקטרון-פוזיטרון הגדול (LEP). כניסתה של ישראל במעמד של משקיפה בשנת 1991 התבצע בעקבות הסכם לתרום כספים לתקציב CERN המיועד לתמיכה במדענים ישראלים וכן לספק ציוד לסרן. המימון הישראלי סייע להפעלת ה-LEP, תמך בהקמת ה-LHC ומשמש למו”פ למאיצים עתידיים. במהלך החברות בסרן, ישראל גם תמכה בסטודנטים פלשתינאים בסרן (אני נתקלתי בכך בביקורי בשנת 2007, א.ב.) ושיגרה משלחות מעורבות של ישראלים ופלשתינאים לתוכניות הקיץ של CERN.
בשנת 2009, ישראל התקבלה כמשקיפה במעמד מיוחד, עם זכויות להצטרף לישיבות סגורות בהן נדונו נושאים הקשורים ל-LHC. ישראל מעורבת כיום בפרויקט אטלס ומשתתפת במספר רב של ניסויים נוספים ב-CERN.

הגיע היקום לסינגולריטי לחלקיק שניה. לא נותרו ביקום שום מקום ודבר אחר. כל המסה-אנרגיה של היקום היו במצב הסינגולריטי, בהכרח, בתצורת דחס של חלקיקים דו-ערכיים מסה-אנרגיה. נקרא להם גרביטונים. הם חייבים להיות בתצורת מסה, והם חייבים להיות החלקיקים הקטנים ביותר האפשריים.
לכן כמות המסה-אנרגיה של היקום שהשתחררה כמסה בתנועה במפץ הגדול חייבת להיות קבועה.
במחזור הנוכחי של היקום סה’כ כיוון תנועת המסה הוא התרחקות אינרטית מנקודת הסינגולריטי. במחזור הבא (בואו ותראו…) יהיה ס’כ כיוון התנועה בחזרה לעבר נקודת בראשית, ע’מ לעצור שם שוב כל תנועה ולהתאחד שוב כמסת כל היקום, לחלקיק שניה…

ההתמעטות של המסה והשתחזרותה לאנרגיה, כלומר למסה בתנועה, מחייבת שהמרת הגרביטונים לאנרגיה היא “שיחזורונצ’יק” של המפץ הגדול, של הרזולוציה של חפיפת מסה-אנרגיה. ומכיוון שהגרביטון הוא חלקיק המסה-אנרגיה הבסיסי, הלא-מתחלק יותר, של היקום, סגולית וקבועה מהירות התנועה של הגרביטונים, המהווים את סך כל המסה של היקום, הדוחפים את הרסיסים הבראשיתיים של היקום המאוחד, את מיקבצי הגלקסיות שנוצרו במפץ הגדול, וממשיכים כך להפריד ביניהם..
מהנ’ל הגיוני לצפות למצוא לא חלקיק היגס הזוי אלא חלקיק מסה גרביטון. אולי גם זה הזוי, אך במחשבה ראשונה זה נראה הגיוני, ולכן אפשרות מדעית…
היקום הוא מיקבץ מאבקים בין כן ולא, בין ביחד או לחוד, בין להתחבר או להיפרד…

Origin And Nature Of Evolution/Natural Selection
(updated beyond historical concepts)
Natural Selection applies to ALL mass formats. Life, a self-replicating format, is just one of them. Natural Selection Defined:
Natural selection is E (energy) temporarily constrained in an m (mass) format. Period.
Natural selection is a ubiquitous property of each and every and all cosmic mass, spin array, formats, from the biggest black hole to the smallest physical particle. Every mass strives to increase its constrained energy content in attempt to postpone its reconversion to energy, to thus postpone addition of its own constitutional energy to the totality of the cosmic energy that fuels the cosmic expansion that goes on since the Big Bang.
The universe, and life within it, are not just conglomerations of mechanisms. The universe, and life within it, have come into being by the nature of energy-mass dualism, and their fate, their final outcome, is governed by this dualism. The genesis and, most probable cyclic, existence of the universe are governed by the energy-mass relationship.
Energy-mass relationship governs also the routes, the mechanisms, of cosmic and life evolutions.
Mechanisms do not set/determine the classical physics fate states. Mechanisms are routes of evolution between classical physics fate states. Quantum mechanics are mechanisms, probable, possible and actual mechanisms of getting from one to other classical physics states WITHIN the expanse from cosmic singularity to the maximum expanded universe and back to singularity states, from the all-mass to nearly-all-energy universe poles.
The universe is the archetype of quantum within classical physics. This is the fractal oneness of the universe. Astronomically there are two physics. A classical Newtonian physics behavior of and between galactic clusters, and a quantum physics behavior WITHIN the galactic clusters.
Life’s Evolution Is The Quantum Mechanics Of Biology. UNRAVEL COMPLEXITIES OF GENETICS. Extend Evolution/Natural Selection Backward To Genes/Genomes. BOTH ARE ORGANISMS. RNAs are Earth’s base primal organisms.
The origin-reason and the purpose-fate of life are mechanistic, ethically and practically meaningless. Life is the cheapest commodity on Earth. Human life is just one of many nature’s routes for the natural survival of RNAs, the base Earth organism.
It is up to humans themselves to elect the purpose and format of their life as individuals and as group-members.

A. Main purposes of the LHC (its first high-energy collisions to be attempted early 2010)
Expected to address most fundamental questions of physics, that are said to block further progress in understanding the cosmic evolution. Planned-built with intention of testing predictions of high-energy physics, mainly:
– Existence of the hypothesized Higgs boson(s), for completing the Standard Model, to explain the “origin of mass” in the universe,
– Do all known particles have supersymmetric partners, for clearing up the “mystery of dark matter”,
– Are there extra dimensions as postulated by models inspired by string theory.
B. Let’s get off the 20th/21st centuries technology culture maze rat race, and take a thinking break:
The study of cosmic evolution concerns and affects the study and comprehension of each and every subject in the universe. Cosmic evolution originated with gravity, which originated with singularity which was ALL the mass of the universe, and with inflation which was the start of the since then ongoing reconversion of mass to energy.
Progress in understanding the cosmic evolution starts with Thinking. Every experiment on the course of its study starts with Thinking. Per my thinking (small t, of course)
E=Total[m(1 + D)] represents the essence of cosmic evolution.
E = Energy content of the universe, was all in mass format at singularity, when D was 0 for 10^-35 seconds.
m = mass content of the universe, was ALL the mass of the universe 10^-35 seconds, reconverting to E (as mD) since the Big Bang, driving the galaxies clusters apart since then.
D = total distance of mass travel in all spatial directions, from the point of Big-Bang, of singularity’s energy-mass superposition.
E of the universe is constant, and the variables of E are the extents of its mass formats and their density in the universe. This is the archetype of configuration for the origin of mass. Production of an amount of m in a one-shot process takes an amount of E that renders D zero. In a one-shot process a superduper squeeze to overcome D is required to achieve an E-m superposition. This is to be attempted at the LHC, with the highest amount of energy now feasible for humanity, which may be a diminutively minuscule amount for the purpose.
Cosmic evolution is the archetype of quantum mechanics in physics, of biological evolution which is the quantum mechanics of biology, of the evolution of every process. All evolutions are E/m processes, strivings to postpone the ongoing reconversion of mass into energy.
The LHC high-energy collisions will most probably advance our comprehension of it even if, as I expect, it will fail to demonstrate that the origin of mass in the universe depends on the hypothesized Higgs boson(s) that do not exist and will fail to demonstrate the existence of dark matter or dark energy that do not exist as per the above EmD relationship. I avoid the “extra dimensions” since they are beyond my simple-minded comprehension. IMO they are religious concepts. Per my commonsensical scientific concept of cosmic evolution everything started with The Inflation and will eventually, when nearly all mass-fuel is depleted and expansion is overcome by gravity, revert back to singularity and …..

כל הכבוד למדע בישראל.
האמת שהאירנים הצליחו במלחמת הדה לגיטימציה שהם מנהלים מאחורי הקלעים נגד ישראל וברוב העולם יש אנרגיה אפלה נגד ישראל. אם צריך לשנות משהו זה לגייס את מעט הידידים שנותרו לנו בעולם להראות שאנחנו לא מפלצות אלא בני אדם מודרניים בניגוד לפרימיטיבים שמסביב. לא מגיע לנו עונש על זה, אלא להפך, אנחנו יכולים לתרום לעולם.
